CSS Registration Schedule & Last Date
CSS Registration Process:
The CSS registration is a two-step process:
- Online Application: Submit your application online through the FPSC website during the specified window.
- Hardcopy Submission: Send a printed copy of your application along with required documents to the FPSC office within the deadline.
Important Documents:
- Treasury Receipt for application fee
- Attested copies of educational certificates
- Domicile certificate
- CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
- Photographs as per specifications
Key Stages of the CSS Exam
Preliminary Test (MPT):
Conducted every year, usually in October/November.
Registration: Dates announced by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on their official website (https://www.fpsc.gov.pk/).
Last Date: Typically falls within a week or two after the announcement.
Written Examination:
Open only to candidates who qualify the MPT.
Registration: Applications accepted online within a specified timeframe after MPT results. For CSS Exam 2024, it was open from November 8th to January 18th, 2024.
Last Date: Submit your application well before the deadline to avoid rejection.
Medical Test & Psychological Test:
Conducted for shortlisted candidates after the written exam.
Registration: No separate registration required. Dates communicated directly to shortlisted candidates.
Interview:
Final stage for shortlisted candidates.
Registration: No separate registration. Interview dates communicated individually.
